Happy Birthday Mumma x

On Tuesday it is my Mums birthday so this weekend I headed home to celebrate with her as unfortunately I have uni on her actual birthday. We started the celebrations by having a pamper morning on Saturday by going to get our nails done together, I got my acrylics re-done and had them painted pink and of course i had to add a bit of gold glitter and mum got pink gels. We then picked up my sister and dad and went to Fosters garden centre as me and mum love a garden centre (call me 90), we wandered around and of course stopped for a coffee and lunch break, I had a pulled pork toastie with salad, Mum had a coronation chicken baguette, Dad had a fruit scone and my sister had a brie, bacon and cranberry toastie. I also tried a peppermint soya latte and it was actually so nice. After we went and viewed some show homes where my sister wants to live as this is something we actually really enjoy doing, we also did some shopping at Sainsbury's. For dinner we had a buffet which is one of our favourite dinners to have as a family, we had sausage rolls, spring rolls, sticky chicken on a stick, crisps, cheese and crackers, hummus with cucumber and carrot sticks and it was delicious. We spent the evening playing 'game of life' and cards. I woke up Sunday morning feeling refreshed and loving being home for the weekend, I had my favourite russian fudge yoghurt, granola and strawberries for breakfast and had a relaxing bath. In the afternoon I went for a long run, I used to spend every Sunday going for these country runs so I enjoyed being back. We spent Sunday evening having a family meal of beef casserole, sweet potato mash and veggies and then we played cards once again. Monday I headed back to Sheffield but before i went home we had a family meal of stand and stuff fajitas and they were so nice. We then of course went for a Costa, I had a sugar free caramel soya latte. I adored my weekend back home with my family and Im already excited to see them again.
