Food, Food and more Food!

Of course whilst in America i took full advantage of eating whatever i wanted when i wanted and oh boy did i go to town. I tried so many delicious treats and meals, so I'm going to list my top favourites for you to try.

HollyWood Studios Red velvet mickey shaped cake pop:
Im addicted to cake pops, especially red velvet and when its in the shape of Mickey I'm sold. I was so pleased that not only was it instagramable it also tasted amazing, it was moist and the chocolate around the outside was also nice (considering I've heard american chocolate is nothing like english).I would 100% recommend.

Mickey Shaped Ice Cream Sandwich:
So again i was a sucker for something Mickey shaped ( I was in disney it had to be done), however it was incredible i think i could have lived on them. It was not to messy which is great when your trying to walk around disney on a hot day. The chocolate cookies on the outside were amazing and the whole thing wasn't to sickly which was a massive bonus.

Cinderella's Royal Table

On the Saturday we got to have the most amazing experience of dining in the Castle at Magic Kingdom, the whole experience was incredible. First off we go to meet and have pictures with Cinderella, after we were called to our table and we got our drinks and bread (which you get everywhere i discovered). We then got to chose our meal, i went with belly pork for starters, pork with vegetables for main and a chocolate cake for dessert, and it was all so delicious. Whilst waiting for our food we also got to have pictures with Ariel, Sleeping Beauty, Snow white and Jasmine. Overall i would say to everyone that this is an absolute  must, memories i will treasure for ever.

The Cheesecake Factory:
This was my all time favourite restaurant and one i was desperate to go to( was very disappointed Lenard and sheldon weren't there). I had the enchiladas and they were so good, so much flavour. We also of course got bread for the table which included chocolate bread and my oh my was that good. Of course i couldn't not get a cheesecake so i got the cookie dough and it was beautiful, my dad got the same, my mum got red velvet which also was incredible and my sister got a chocolate one which was tasty.

IHOP:

I was so excited to try IHOP as id seen so many youtubers rave on about it. I had the red velvet pancakes which had a cream cheese sauce on top, they were very sweet so i couldn't eat them all but they tasted devine. They have a range of options, so i would definitely say to go and have breakfast there,

Johny Rockets

Going to Johny Rockets was an absolute  must of me and my family as I'm the only one who has never been and was so excited to experience it, its set out like a 1950s all american diner which first of made me excited. Usually they sing and dance on the tables, however we went to the one in Miami and it was a smaller one so they didn't do this. However i wasn't disappointed as the food was lush, i had an Oreo milkshake which was so good, i had a beef burger with cheese, bacon and fries. I would 100% go again, i also got a t-shirt as a souvenir so ill always have something to remember it.

Frozen Yoghurt
I can't not mention frozen yoghurt, i lived on this. Its so refreshing and filling and the flavours and topping choices were amazing, some of my favourites were cake batter frozen yoghurt with oreo, brownie, peanut butter cup toppings yum!

All in all the food was so good and i was not disappointed by anywhere that we went, I have a trying American Candy blog post to follow which hopefully will give you an insight into the amazing snacks i tried and loved.

Living The Disney Dream

Going to America has been a dream of mine for so long now, its always been what I've said is my favourite country and now it absolutely is. Going to Disney made this the best trip of my life as I'm a HUGE disney fan.
We went to Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Epcot, Hollywood studios and Typhoon Lagoon, i loved every single one.

Animal Kingdom was the first park we went to, it was a nice relaxed day with some small rides, seeing animals(which were adorable so a massive highlight) i also met chip and Dale and Rafiki. We also got to see a Bat being operated on, which was so weird but kind of interesting. This was definitely one of the less busy parks, so was a good one to start of the trip with.

Magic Kingdom of course was my FAVOURITE, this was probably the busiest park but that is of course to be expected. It was my favourite because the rides were the best, my favourite ride from the whole trip was space mountain which was at Magic Kingdom. It was also so pretty, the main street was instagrammable in every corner, and of course the castle was a massive part of making it my favourite park. I did a lot of my shopping here also, even the shops made great photo opportunities.

Epcot is like travelling around different countries by foot in a matter of hours, i really enjoyed walking round and looking at the different cultures of the countries and also looking at what they had in England to check if they had it right(they did for the most part). We ate at the Chinese and it was amazing. There were also rides at Epcot my favourite being the one were it took you around all the developments of technology, it was so interesting.

Typhoon Lagoon is the water park that we went to and i had the best day, it was a nice rest day from the other parks as it shut at 6, it was also nice to be in water all day as I'm a total water bug. The watersides were all so good and the water waves in the "sea"(a massive pool that's made to look like a beach and sea as its outside) were amazing and so strong that most of the time you went under(which made it better for me as i love that sort of thing).

Hollywood studios was my second favourite park, when we got there the storm troopers did a show and although Ive never seen star wars(it made me want to though) it was so interesting seeing them all come out and take over. Tower of terror, rock n roller coaster and toy story ride were my favourites from the park. Tower of terror is the most known ride, you go up in a lift and then fall down the tower and it lived up to my expectations. Rock N Roller coaster was my favourite of the day as it was a typical fast, upside down, exhilarating ride. Toy Story was a game ride which was different and fun, you had to shoot things to get points and your playing against the person sitting next to you. I really love that every ride at all the Disney parks have there own theme and they decorated so in detail.

Disney Springs is a Disney shopping centre with lots of restaurants. I spent a load of money here buying Disney things and bath bombs. They also have shops like sephora, Mac, anthropology, etc. We also had dinner there at Paradiso 37 and it was such a nice meal. Disney Springs also has incredible views ready to be photographed and put on instagram.

Disney was the most memorable, incredible week of my life and i hope to go back one day and relive my dream all over again and meet even more characters.
