5 Week Shred

Camp is 6 weeks away and therefore I am on a 5 week shred (as the last week I have leaving drinks and a leaving meal so the diet will go out the window). My aim is to lose 5 pounds a week, I would love to lose more than that however that is a reachable goal and won't put to much pressure on me, as stress can hinder weight loss. At the moment I am 9.12lb so once I am finished I am hoping to be 9.7lb. I have been losing a pound a week for the last two months so therefore if I stick to the way I am dieting and exercising now the weight should come off. I have been eating clean during the way and then having a treat a week as it means I don't crave bad foods during the week. I have also been going to the gym six days a week for an hour and doing a half an hour workout at home five days a week, also whenever I can Ive been going on long runs and bike rides.I will do another blog post after the five weeks to see how well I do and if I complete or beat my goal.

Easter Sunday

This Easter was a bigger celebration for me than normal because it was the end of lent, this lent me and my best friend, Lindsey decided to give up two things each, I gave up chocolate and bread and she gave up alcohol and crisps. The bread was the hardest for me, however towards the end I craved chocolate, especially being surrounded by the delicious Easter chocolate. So of course I used this an excuse to celebrate. I started my day waking up feeling refreshed after a lie in, I watched some youtube videos and then made myself a cinnamon and raisin bagel, oh my it was the best tasting bagel id ever eaten, I watched Louise's (sprinkle of glitter) weekly vlog, as this is always what I watch on a Sunday whilst eating my breakfast.As I had the day off work (as Waitrose was closed ) I spent the next couple of hours laying in bed, colouring, drawing, reading etc. I then had a relaxing bath, with the ladybird lush bath bar, a face mask and a hair mask. For lunch I had some pulled pork pizza, which was so yummy. Of course I had to have some chocolate, I had a whole selection from mini oreo eggs to kinder bon bons to digestive nibbles, so I had a small amount of each. Mum and Dad gave me a giant lindt bunny the size of my head and £10 for Easter and I also got £10 of my grandma, which I was so thankful to receive! I gave my mum her cadbury wispa easter egg that she had asked for and she was thrilled with it. I then went over to Lindseys house to get ready and we treated ourselves to a large glass of wine. It was then time to go to the pub and have cocktails and nachos, whilst at the pub we met up with some of our friends. Around midnight we got a taxi to Milton Keynes, a city near where I live, to go to one of the clubs. Our night ended the next day at half 4. I think it was an easter sunday well spent!

What I Eat In A Day

I thought I would show you what I eat on a day to day basis, of course it changes from day to day but this is generally the sort of things I eat in a day..

Breakfast;
Every morning I have weetabix with honey and raspberries and a cup of green tea, its a good healthy start to the day and always helps to wake me up. I always look forward to this breakfast which is good as when I look forward to a meal and enjoy a meal it fulfils me and means that I don"t snack.

Lunch;
For lunch today I needed something easy as I was at work, so I bought myself a
Tesco salad to go, you can pick whatever you want to be in it and as it is self serve decide how much of each thing you want. In mine is couscous, pesto pasta, a tiny bit of coleslaw, sweet potato salad and two mini falafel balls, this is all for £2, you can also get a regular size and a large size but I just got the mini as its the perfect size for me. For a snack I had my favourite a Bakewell Tart Naked bar.

Dinner;
For dinner on this day I had fajitas with coleslaw, however as it is still lent and I gave up bread for lent I had it without the wrap. On a general day to day basis for dinner I will have chicken or some kind of meat with veg.

The Sunniest Day

The sun is finally here and England and it looks like it is here to stay. For the last couple of weeks the sun has been shining and although it hasn't been always warm, it hasn't rained which is an achievement for england! However yesterday, Sunday, was the hottest day of the year so far! So I took full advantage of the weather, I spent the morning at work as always, but then I came home and had some lunch and then I went on an hour and a half run up the meadows near my house and it was lovely. The sun was shining, I ran past houses where I could smell BBQ's being cooked, people having picnics, on bike rides and walks, it made me so happy that everyone was taking full advantage of the day. After my run I had a lovely bath, with a face mask and lush bath bomb. We had a pot roasted beef and sat outside to eat it. I finished my day by going on a two hour walk with my best friend, where we talked about our futures, tv programmes, conspiracy theories and many other life things.It was definitely one of my favourite days of the year so far!
